Neli Signature

Neli Signature was the first blend we created back in 2008. Our aim was to craft a versatile blend that would work across a range of brewing options. We worked with Arabica’s from PNG, Sumatra and Colombia and experimented with roast profiles and flavours until we found a combination we were happy with. We think this blend works well across a number of brew methods. As an espresso you should find a good level of acidity upfront, medium buttery body with caramel notes, and a smooth chocolate aftertaste. In milk based coffees, the flavours will be dominated by malt, caramel and chocolate.

 

Premium Espresso

Premium Espresso was the second blend we created after Neli Signature. We wanted a blend with bold flavours which would stand up in milk based drinks. We also wanted a blend that was consistent and would work well for our wholesale cafe customers. Premium Espresso Blend is a medium roasted blend of  South American, African and Indonesian Arabica beans. Mild acidity with a full body, notes of dark chocolate, almonds and brown sugar.

 

Jetstream

Jetstream is a combination of Ethiopian, Colombian and Guatemalan light to medium roasted washed Arabicas which we have found to be excellent across a number of brew options. As an espresso you should find a lively acidity upfront, smooth buttery body and a sweet malty finish. As a filter coffee the acidity will continue to shine through and you should get lots of body and caramel sweetness. In milk based drinks the malt flavours dominate with a milk chocolate sweetness in the aftertaste.

 

Forte Nero

We developed this blend sometime ago after continued requests for a strong, dark roasted , full bodied coffee that would work well with automatic machines. Forte Nero, as the name suggests is not for the faint hearted. Taken into second crack, this is a blend of Brazil and Ethiopian (both Natural process) and a small amount of Indian Monsooned Robusta. Lots of body, bittersweet with a bakers chocolate finish.
