Located in the remote town of Jacaltenango in Western Guatemala, the Coop Rio Azul has 186 members and was founded in 1967. The coop owns a wet mill in the town where all the coffee is brought to be processed. The proximity of the mill to the farmers ensures comprehensive control over every stage of production, resulting in excellent cup quality.
We are cupping molasses, hazelnut, lemon and cocoa. Perfect as an espresso or in milk based coffees.
