We currently have a casual position available for a cafe all-rounder. You will be working primarily in our retail area serving customers, preparing coffee and some food items, pricing and managing stock as well as assisting our wholesale section with packing orders and QA in our cupping lab. A love of coffee is a prerequisite! You must possess the following selection criteria:

  • have a strong work ethic with great communication skills,
  • be customer focused with a friendly nature,
  • have a neat & tidy personal appearance,
  • be able to work under pressure in a team environment,
  • create social media posts and update our website,
  • answer customer queries (phone/email/in person),
  • have cash handling skills and experience using POS system, and
  • be willing to learn new things,

This role is initially for 6 months covering another employee however it may well lead to a full time position. We will provide full training so if you are not an accomplished barista don’t stress. Working hours are from Tue to Sat 7am – 2:30pm (1:30pm finish on Sat). We do not work on public holidays. Applications must be sent by email only to “The Manager” mail@nelicoffee.com.au.
